Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q’s) |
Laser Hair Removal |
What
is Soprano Laser/ How does Laser work?
Epilite use the Soprano Xli which is a true laser to provide permanent hair reduction. The laser is absorbed by pigments in the hair which heats up follicles and destroys them without damaging surrounding skin. |
|
Is laser right for me?
Soprano XLi removes hair
more effectively than
existing methods such
as IPL, electrolysis and
waxing. It removes in
grown hairs and has
helped people improve
confidence. It is
suitable for all skin
types,including patients
with very dark skin. |
|
Is Soprano laser hair removal permanent?
Yes. It will permanently destroy hair follicles that are in the growing phase on the day of treatment. It will not affect follicles without hair hence we recommend a series of treatments. |

|
What
actually happens to the fat?
The fat cells are undamaged, but due
to the reaction of the laser light
on the cell it will empty the
contents. The contents consist of
Water, Glycerol and free fatty
acids. Following a treatment the
Glycerol or sugar is rapidly
absorbed by the body. The water
carries the free fatty acids,
through the lymphatic system,
through the kidneys and are then
passed out of the body in your
urine. |
|
Does
the treatment hurt?
No. There is no pain at all. |
|
Will
I have to keep coming back to keep

The answer will be dependent on your
lifestyle. |

Any cardio-vascular exercise
adjusted for your fitness level,

power walking, etc. It is important
that the right exercise is chosen
for your age and fitness level.
Whichever exercise is chosen must
get the heart rate up to the point
of perspiring. |
|

with the clients that follow the

addition the more exercise you can
do the better the results. |
